Intern

Trista Brantley is an Intern in the Washington, DC office of Sanford Heisler Sharp, a national law firm with offices in the District of Columbia, New York, California, Tennessee, and Maryland. Trista is a rising senior at the University of Notre Dame, where she is pursuing a B.A. in political science and history with a minor in constitutional studies.

At Notre Dame, Trista serves as President of Notre Dame College Democrats as well as a campus tour guide, and in the South Bend community as an intern with the Special Victims Unit of the local Prosecutor’s Office. This next year, she will be conducting research for her senior thesis on the division of domestic labor and whether that affects rates of domestic violence.

Trista is also a member of Notre Dame’s Baraka Bouts, which is the largest women’s boxing team in the world and raises thousands of dollars each year for its missions in Uganda. This past year, she has enriched her education by travelling around Europe, completing an internship abroad, and studying in Ireland and London.
