Sarah Ryan is a Legal Assistant in the New York office of Sanford Heisler Sharp, LLP, a national law firm with offices in the District of Columbia, New York, California, Tennessee, and Maryland. She received her B.A. magna cum laude from Harvard College, where she was awarded membership to the Phi Beta Kappa Society.
Academically, Sarah focused on various topics in political philosophy, studying as an undergraduate fellow with the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics and culminating her work with a senior thesis on how theories of justice can accommodate the relationship between corporations and the state.
While at Harvard, Sarah competed with and served on the Executive Board of the Harvard College Debating Union. She also volunteered with the Small Claims Advisory Service, where she helped provide information to Massachusetts residents about small claims court. She previously interned with the Legal Aid Society’s Education Advocacy Project and with Rise Justice Labs.
Sarah is considering attending law school in the future.
