Intern

Samantha Schwartz is an Intern in the New York office of Sanford Heisler Sharp, a national law firm with offices in the District of Columbia, New York, California, Tennessee, and Maryland.

Samantha attends Fordham University, where she is pursuing a B.A. in American Studies, with a concentration on Cultural Products.

At Fordham, where she has made the Dean’s List, Samantha has fostered a passion for justice and cultivated her curiosity on how to change the world in her own way. She was awarded the President’s Volunteer Service Award for her work in animal welfare and environmental justice with the organization The Road Less Traveled, and she graduated from the Fordham University Emerging Leaders Program (FUEL) in Spring 2024, in which she developed leadership skills through diverse workshops with professors, administrators, and fellow students alike.

Samantha is an active leader for many on-campus organizations, a founding member of Fordham University’s meditation club, and the logistics coordinator for the outdoors club. She has also spent her time volunteering for Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and Endeavor Therapeutic Horsemanship, working with animals and helping children with special needs.

During her summer internship at Sanford Heisler Sharp, Samantha is continuing to learn all she can about the field of law to make an impact for the betterment of the world, driven by her strong sense of justice.
