Will Cohen is a Legal Assistant in the Washington, DC office of Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight, a national law firm with offices in the District of Columbia, New York, California, and Tennessee. He received his B.A. with distinction from the University of Michigan, where he majored in Political Science and minored in History and Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences.

At Michigan, Will was deeply involved in several research projects. He examined how the partisanship of local election administration affects voter trust for the Michigan Political Science Department and, during his senior capstone project, worked with community partners to develop more equitable and efficient transit policy in Ann Arbor. He also explored the intersection of human rights, economics, and international relations as an editor of the Michigan Foreign Policy Journal.

Will has also held internships with the Partnership for Public Service, Congressman Jamie Raskin, and most recently the International Bar Association.

Will is interested in the role of law addressing economic inequality and checking corporate power. He plans to attend law school in the future.
