Trevor Byrne is a Legal Assistant located at Sanford Heisler Sharp’s San Francisco office. Trevor graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University in Social Studies, with a focus on urban poverty in America. Trevor’s honors thesis investigated the experience of Boston tenants facing eviction in housing court, utilizing a sociological framework through extensive interviews.
During his time at Harvard, Trevor developed a passion for public service and social justice. He served as a coordinator for the Mission Hill Afterschool Program, a volunteer tutoring program in downtown Boston. Between his sophomore and junior years of college, Trevor took a gap year to work with City Year, serving at a middle school in New York City. Through an internship with the Massachusetts Legal Assistance Corporation, the organization responsible for allocating state funding to legal aid centers throughout the Commonwealth, Trevor became interested in the intersection between law and public service.
Trevor hopes to attend law school in the future.
