Song Lee is a Legal Assistant in the Palo Alto Office of Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight, a national law firm with offices in the District of Columbia, New York, California, and Tennessee. Song received a Bachelor of Science at Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations with a minor in Law and Society and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. Before transferring to Cornell, Song studied at Emory University, where she was recognized on the Dean’s List every semester.

Most recently, Song served as an Enforcement Intern with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), where she supported workplace discrimination investigations, mediations, outreach initiatives, and case analysis. She also served as a Judicial Intern through the Sonia & Celina Sotomayor Judicial Internship Program at the New York State Supreme Court and as a Legal Intern with the New York Waterfront Commission.

Song’s work has focused on labor and policy issues. Through the Buffalo High Road Fellowship with the Partnership for Public Good, she published independent research on the child care crisis and presented her findings on state policy models to the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo. She later expanded this work as a Cornell University Worker Institute Fellow, analyzing qualitative data to inform New York State policy initiatives.

At Cornell, Song published legal scholarship as a Staff Writer for the Cornell Undergraduate Law & Society Review (CULSR) and presented her research at CULSR’s 2026 International Law Symposium. She also served as an Executive Board Member and Editor for the Cornell Sports and Entertainment Law Society.

Internationally, Song studied at the Faculty of Labor Relations and Trade Unions at Ton Duc Thang University, where she researched the gig economy and presented her findings through the ILR Global Gallery. She was also selected for the ILR Exchange Program at Bocconi University’s School of Business, Economics, and Management.

Across these experiences, Song developed a strong commitment to workplace equity and access to justice.
