Radha Carollo is a Legal Assistant in the New York Office of Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight, a national law firm with offices in the District of Columbia, New York, California, and Tennessee. Radha graduated cum laude from Columbia University with a B.A. in Climate System Science, where she studied the science of climate change alongside its political, social, and economic dimensions.

At Columbia, Radha led Consilience: The Journal of Sustainable Development and served as Creative Director for The Sapna Project, a campus organization that explores the social, political, and cultural facets of South Asian identity. Her senior thesis examined how intensifying storms affect the turbidity of the Hudson River Estuary. While at Columbia, Radha also worked as a research assistant in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences and as a preservation assistant for Columbia University Libraries.

Radha previously served as a Harriet Tubman Fellow for the Detroit Institute of Law and Organizing’s Coalition for Property Tax Justice, where she organized alongside low-income homeowners to end over assessments, stop property tax foreclosures, and secure compensation for those whom the City overtaxed. She has held internships in sustainability consulting, oceanographic research, education, and immigration legal services. After high school, Radha served on California Forward’s Young Leaders Advisory Council, advocating for evidence-based policy solutions aimed at building a more equitable and sustainable future.

Radha plans to attend law school in the future.
