Molly Pines is a Legal Assistant in Sanford Heisler Sharp’s San Francisco office. Molly graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College with a double-major in English and Spanish. Outside of her majors, her academic career also included various courses in American Studies and Law, Jurisprudence, and Social Thought. She wrote her senior honors thesis on the overlaps between poetry and psychoanalysis, concluding with an exploration of how the two disciplines can help generate hope in today’s tumultuous social and political climate.
At Amherst, Molly competed as a member of the Varsity Swim & Dive team, garnering a Most Improved Award, a Coaches’ Award, and multiple top-eight finishes at the NESCAC Championships during her four years. She also served as a campus tour guide and participated in the Education Professions Fellows group, comprised of students concerned with educational inequity and related issues.
Molly is considering law school in the future.
