Mira Manchanda

Mira Manchanda is a Legal Assistant in the San Diego office of Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight, a national law firm with offices in the District of Columbia, New York, California, and Tennessee. Mira graduated with honors from Grinnell College, where she double-majored in mathematics and economics with a concentration in statistics.

Mira’s academic and professional background has provided her with a strong foundation in data analysis, economic modeling, and statistical interpretation. During her time at Grinnell, Mira was recognized for her academic excellence, earning the dean’s list and securing second place in the Regional Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Challenge in 2023. She was also actively involved in leadership roles, serving as President of International Student Athletes and Allies and Co-Captain of the Varsity Women’s Tennis Team, where she led her team to a third-round placement in nationals and a conference victory.

Prior to joining Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight, Mira gained valuable experience through internships at HDI Global Insurance Company, Novastone Capital Advisors, Deloitte, and the Bombay Stock Exchange, where she honed her skills in financial analysis, market research, and process optimization. She also conducted research under Dr. Vineet Agarwal and Dr. Logan Lee, utilizing tools like Stata and Python to analyze economic trends and prison data.

Mira is fluent in English and Hindi and has conversational proficiency in French. She thrives in diverse and cross-cultural environments and is passionate about applying her analytical and economic expertise at the firm before continuing her journey in the legal field.
