Most recently, she worked at the Legal Aid Justice Center in Charlottesville, Virginia on a class-action lawsuit against the Virginia Department of Corrections for failing to provide constitutionally adequate healthcare to female prisoners.
Maliha intends to pursue law school in the future in order to continue working to advance civil rights protections for marginalized communities.
