Louise Mulrennan is a Legal Case Manager at Sanford Heisler Sharp’s New York Office. Louise graduated summa cum laude from Trinity College Dublin in 2018, where she received a Bachelor of Laws and Political Science. She was elected Valedictorian Speaker of her Law Class of 2018 and won the Irish National Moot Court Competition in 2017. She has previously worked as a Summer Associate in two of Ireland’s largest corporate law firms.
Louise is an ardent activist, stakeholder and advocate for gender equality. During her time in Trinity, she was voted the Gender Equality Officer of the Students’ Union. Her most notable achievement in this role was spearheading a national campaign to promote positive dialogue surrounding the issue of sexual consent. To this end, she lobbied for, designed, and successfully implemented Ireland’s first ever consent workshops. As a result of her work, she was awarded “Equality Activist of the Year” in the National Student Achievement Awards. In her senior year, Louise prepared an extensive research proposal on “gendered” workplaces, focusing on the biases, prejudices and stereotypes surrounding female parliamentarians in the Irish National Parliament.
As a proud Irishwoman, Louise has an unrelenting passion for sport and music. She played varsity Netball for four years and has previously represented her country in the Under 17’s European Netball Championships. She has also completed her Grade 8 in piano with the Royal Irish Academy of Music. In the future, Louise hopes to pursue a Master of Laws and sit for the New York Bar.
