Laura Jiang is a Senior Legal Assistant in the New York office of Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight, a national law firm with offices in the District of Columbia, New York, California, and Tennessee.
Laura graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in History and Dance and was elected Phi Beta Kappa. Her senior thesis on The Community Chest movement and corporate philanthropy in the 1920s and New Deal era earned Columbia’s Chanler Historical Prize for the best senior essay on the history of American civil government. While at Columbia, Laura also edited for the Columbia Journal of History and wrote articles for the Columbia Undergraduate Law Review.
Prior to joining the firm, Laura gained internship experience in corporate social responsibility within the legal and financial sectors.
Laura has been admitted to Harvard Law School through the Junior Deferral Program and plans to matriculate in 2027, with aspirations for a legal career serving the public good.
