Kayla Hollingsworth is a Senior Legal Assistant in the San Francisco office of Sanford Heisler Sharp, LLP, a national law firm with offices in the District of Columbia, New York, California, Tennessee, and Maryland. She received her B.A. with high honors from Harvard College. Kayla is currently completing a Masters of Legal Studies through Arizona State University.
Kayla’s studies at Harvard focused on electoral politics, creative fiction writing, the politics of language and speechwriting. While at Harvard, she led the organization of Harvard’s international Model United Nations conference and worked at the Bernard Koteen Office of Public Interest Advising at Harvard Law School. She worked for the New Zealand Labour Party and the election campaign of the Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, and was on the Massachusetts Governor Council’s administrative support staff. She also loved the outdoors community on campus, becoming involved in the mountaineering and outdoor clubs. Following graduation, she worked on immigration policy at the Arizona border consulting with the Florence Immigrant and Refugee Project and the Harvard Club.
Kayla is currently receiving a Masters of Legal Studies online with a focus in environmental and immigration law through Arizona State University.
