Carolina Sturla is a Senior Legal Assistant in the New York office of Sanford Heisler Sharp, LLP, a national law firm with offices in the District of Columbia, New York, California, Tennessee, and Maryland. She received her B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
Within her studies, Carolina focused on social inequities in health policy. In her final year, Carolina worked as a program assistant at an afterschool program where she provided trauma-informed care for refugee children.
While at Vanderbilt, Carolina explored her interests in civil rights and politics through internships at the Patna office of CARE India, Let America Vote, and Senator Kamala Harris’ office.
Carolina hopes to pursue a law degree or a master’s degree in social work to work in the field of immigrant and refugee advocacy.
