Brandon Golfman is a Law Clerk in the Washington, D.C. office of Sanford Heisler Sharp, LLP, a national law firm with offices in Washington, DC, New York, California, Tennessee, and Maryland. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in International Development from the University of Western Ontario in 2016. During his undergrad, he traveled and volunteered extensively in Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Africa.
Mr. Golfman is currently a third-year dual-degree candidate at Syracuse University: J.D. at Syracuse University College of Law and M.A. in International Relations at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. At Syracuse, he serves as Executive Director of the Syrian Accountability Project and Lead Articles Editor for Impunity Watch Law Journal. During his second year, Mr. Golfman was a Student Mentor to the incoming first-year class and worked as a Research Assistant to Professor David Crane. As a Syracuse Public Interest Fellow, he interned at the Global Justice Center, where he worked on issues related to gender and genocide. He also interned at the AIRE Centre in London to help promote human rights law throughout Europe.
