Alexis Villalobos is a Senior Legal Assistant in the San Francisco office of Sanford Heisler Sharp, LLP. Alexis graduated from Occidental College in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics. While at Occidental, Alexis assisted in researching academic success among Black and Latino high-school students in the Los Angeles area in partnership with UCLA’s Black Male Institute.
Alexis first joined the Firm in 2016, and in 2018 he left to spend a year as a Labor Organizer at SEIU Local 87, a janitors’ union in San Francisco. As an organizer, Alexis led the successful campaign to reinstate a group of wrongfully-terminated janitors at the San Francisco Superior Court. Alexis also led the union’s ongoing campaign to win a contract for approximately 90 workers who maintain Equinox’s three luxury gyms in San Francisco.
With his newly-gained experiences and perspectives, Alexis is excited to return to the Firm to continue working on cases of workplace injustice. He continues to be involved in the Equinox campaign during his free time. Alexis plans on attending law school in the future.
