Alec Konstantin

Alec Konstantin is the Chief Operating Officer at Sanford Heisler Sharp, a national law firm with offices in the District of Columbia, New York, California, Tennessee, and Maryland. He received his B.A. with highest distinction and highest departmental honors from the University of California, Berkeley.

Alec joined the firm as a Legal Assistant in 2016, became the firm’s first Director of Operations in 2020, and was named the firm’s first Chief Operating Officer in 2023. Alec has helped the firm open its current offices in Nashville, Baltimore, New York, San Diego, and Palo Alto and been instrumental in the firm’s operational growth and success since 2017. He works closely with the firm’s Chairman and the firm’s leadership on nearly every aspect of the firm’s day-to-day operations. Alec is also responsible for the firm’s intake team, managing relationships with vendors across the country, supporting all levels of the firm, and developing the vision and road map for implementing technological, administrative, case management, business development, and other strategic solutions.

Prior to joining Sanford Heisler Sharp, Alec worked as a Research Assistant at the Human Rights Center at Berkeley Law and as a Legal Data Science Associate at Ravel Law, a legal analytics startup that LexisNexis acquired in June 2017.
