During and after law school, Erika worked as a paralegal gaining experience in family law, workers compensation, personal injury, employment discrimination, and labor law.
While at Vanderbilt, Ayanna served as Chair of Project I Am, an organization dedicated to the personal and professional development of minority students.
At Berkeley, Pavel was the acting assistant deputy director for the Nuclear Policy Working Group in 2018, as well as a member of the Nuclear Engineering Student Delegation.
During his time at Duke, Anderson worked as an Operations Associate at Battleground Texas, a GPAC dedicated to supporting national, state and local Democratic Party candidates in Texas.

At the University of Michigan, Amber worked with America Reads Tutoring Corps to improve the reading skills of elementary school students in the Detroit area. She also interned with the National Women’s Law Center and Penn Hill Group.
Prior to joining Sanford Heisler Sharp, Mr. Tepe clerked for the Honorable Sarah A. L. Merriam, United States Magistrate Judge for the District of Connecticut.
Prior to law school, Ms. Linehan worked in international development on legal reform.
Prior to joining Sanford Heisler Sharp, Ms. St. Charles was an associate at Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer, LLP in Washington, DC, where her practice involved a variety of complex commercial litigation matters in both federal and state courts.
During law school, Ms. Wolf represented immigrant clients in deportation proceedings as part of NYU’s Immigrant Rights Clinic.
Nashville Managing Partner
Judge Sharp is the Managing Partner of Sanford Heisler Sharp’s Nashville office, which opened in the spring of 2017. He joined Sanford Heisler Sharp after serving as a judge on the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee from May 2011 through April 2017, serving from 2014 to 2017 as the Court’s Chief Judge.
